Q1)
The institution that has distributed
this advertisement of road safety has taken an original and positive approach towards
the importance of road safety by employing several of different techniques. The
editors of this advert have used slow motion in order to indicate and symbolises
the unique approach taken by the editors. The slow motion utilised pin points
the series of events that goes wrong when you don’t use your seat belt and when
you don’t concentrate on the road. The moral agenda by the editors of this film
is to make sure the audience stay safe on the road and to think about you could
be losing. This is shown near the end of the extract when it says ‘Embrace Life’.This message connotes safety, maturity and responsibility
which the makers believe is positive. This is the case as they would want you
to think about your family before making a life threatening decisions
Another reason why they could have employed this is that,
one of the world common deaths recorded yearly had come from road incidents. What
this is institution is trying to promote is that having a family is one of
lives most precious gifts. This advert symbolises it can be taking away from
you in an instant. This illustrates there willingness to send a positive
message to millions and make a change.
